How far can you go with an Xbee? Turns out, quite a long way.

Well I find 10.6KM impressive anyway!

Note that this is done using an Xbee 900 and that most people get the 2.4GHz ones. They have much lower range. You can go ridiculously far if you use an Xbee 868 (>10 miles). I know there are legal restrictions on both the 900MHz and the 838MHz though.
